Safepaw looked out of the apprentices den carefully like always. She didnt see her older brother around. She tried to stay away from him as much as she could. It wasnt that she didnt like him, she was just very careful around him, along with her deputy. She believed that another cat could have been chosen to be deputy but he picked Wolfheart. She gave a gulp and wanted to stay in the apprentices den but knew she had things to do today.
She took in a deep breath and saw the camp enternace and sprinted across the camp and made it to the enternace. She looked back and saw that no one saw her. It was early and it was a a clear day, not a cloud in the sky but the wind made it chilly. She made one last look to the camp and then turned and padded into the forest. Hopefully she wouldnt run into her brother, was he even her brother anymore? Nightstar. Let alone her deputy.. maybe she should of taken her sisister Halopaw with.. yet that would cause her to yell at her if she woke Halopaw up. She was now alone in the woods and tried to keep her eyes focused on the forest but her mind was thinking way to much. She decided to hop onto a log and sat down and looked out into the forest and to see what she could get for her clan today.

Celestialrain saw her younger sister run out of camp. She followed quickly, she too did the same motions looking for her brother. Left, than right. She caught up to her and cut her off."Wait." She mewed. ,Nighstars scent was near by. Last thing she wanted was to be caught by her brother. He wasn't evil or anything, but he looked like her father he could be very intimidating."Its a good thing I saw you." She mewed after the scent became less distinct."Halopaw wouldn't have done you any help...being blind and all." She didn't mean to make less of her sister but it was true.

Safepaw stopped and couched to the ground when she heard someone telling her to wait. She relaxed a bit when it was her older sister Celestialrain. She smelled the air and found it was her brother. She gave a little shiver but then relaxed a bit when it faded. She looked up at her sister and then back down. "I know she wouldnt.. Its not her fault for being blind though."
Safepaw got up and gave a shake and kept suiet for a few seconds and then looked at her sister and asked, "Why did daddy leave Celestialrain..and mommy.. I dont like it when they are gone, I dont feel.. safe anymore.." She looked around the forest with her ears resting on her head and mewed, "Dont get me wrong I love Nightstar but its just...things got so weird lately...and I dont like it.."

"No dear, its not her fault shes blind at all. It's all part of life." Her tail gently touched her younger sister. A small smile formed on her muzzle."Theres nothing we can do about mom and dad." She sighed and looked at the she-cat."Nightstar loves us very much, just ask him dear."

Safepaw shook her head and felt her sisters tail touch her. "I dont wanna ask Nightstar.." Tears formed in the cats eyes and she looked up at Celestialrain and whispered, "I miss mom and dad..." She then looked back down slowly and did wish they were back. She was glad she had Celestialrain but she would have to look out for Halopaw. She gave a sniffle and looked out into the forest.

Celestialrain sighed. Her blue and green eye looked at her younger sister. There really wasn't anything she could do. She blinked back tears herself."I miss them too love, but....."She didn't have a but she didn't have a clue."Shall we go back to camp, maybe we can distract ourselves someway. Have faith....have hope. They will come home."

Safepaw nodded but didnt look up at her sister. She let a tear fall from her eye and hit the ground. She stepped on it as she padded slowly back to camp. All she wanted was her parents to come back home. She didnt know why they left or when or if they would come back. All that mattered is she missed them. She gave a sniffle and let her tail drag on the ground as she entered the camp again.
She came to the center of the camp and sat down. She let her tail rest next to her laying out and she was focused on the apprentices den.

Shadekit was just playing around the camp, waiting for Wolfheart to come back from his hunt. He was working a lot lately; and Shadekit didn't get to see him as much as usual. I guess it's all part of being the deputy... she thought sullenly. She didn't like it; she'd rather see her father and spend time with him; but she was only two moons old, what could she have done? Nothing.
Her ears pricked as she saw an apprentice, Safepaw, it was, walk back into camp. The she-cat looked a little sad; and Shadepaw wanted to know why, being the curious little kit she was. As soon as Safepaw laid down, Shadekit bounded away from the nursery and towards the sullen apprentice, stumbling most of the time. Being two moons old did that to you.
"Safepaw! Why are you sad?" being a kit, Shadekit knew almost nothing of beating around the bush. Well, she knew of it, she just didn't know how to do it. Shadekit glanced curiously at the apprentice, head tilted and eyes wide with curiosity. It was one of the few times Shadekit would acutally have initiated a conversation with a she-cat; one of the very are times. Perhaps it was something about Safepaw's sadness that drew her towards the apprentice? Or perhaps she was getting that lonely?

Safepaw heard little paw steps behind her and she turned her blue eyes and saw Shadekit waddling toward her. She got up quickly and mewed, "Shadekit, you know your not allowd out of the nursery. Your not old enough yet." She gave the kit a stern look before she softened up again.
"Shadekit I'm not sad. Just a lot has been on my mind and I just wish I could sort it all out. Yet your young so enjoy what you can." she purred. She then looked back up and to the apprentices den and still saw her sister sleeping. Celestialrain didnt come for a while and yet if Safekit was out it was better she was with her then having safekit all alone in the camp.

ooc:YAY more rpers  Ic: Halopaw stumbled out of the apprentices den with a yawn. Her unseeing blue eyes looked at her two sisters walking back into camp. Although she couldn't see she knew it was them and even knew what direction to look out."Safepaw why didn't you take me hunting with you? We always patrol together....."She trailed off then she realized it was with a senior warrior close by. Because she was blind she needed the extra aid. She rolled her eyes and sighed. She was a burden just like her dead brother that Celestialrain and Nightstar talked about. Except he was bind mute and deaf with only three legs. No wonder why he didn't last long."Hi Shadekit." Halopaw piped up. |

She turned her head to her sister and flattened her ears on her head and looked down. "I'm sorry Halopaw. I know we always do but you needed your sleep and I didnt get to go hunting. Celestialrain stopped me before I could, I was going to turn back anyway, I didnt want to go alone anyway." She looked at her sister and then back at the ground. She was really scared of her brother and deputy. She then got up and sat next to her sister Halopaw and still felt bad she didnt wake her sister up. Some sister she was.

Shadekit looked curiously at Safepaw. There was something wrong, that was for sure; but Shadekit couldn't figure out why Safepaw just wouldn't tell her. Sure she was young, but so was Safepaw. "Safepaw, your young too!" she argued, stomping her small little paw. She picked up her head as another cat came, it was Halopaw.
"Halopaw!" Shadekit cried out, looking at the she-cat with excitement. More cats meant more fun. When she asked Safepaw about hunting, Shadekit sat down with a thump but not before stomping her paw like the kit she was. "Can I go hunting with you, Halopaw?" she asked eagerly. Maybe if Halopaw agreed, then she'd be able to learn how to hunt; and having Safepaw there would be even better!
"Do you think I can hunt with you too?" she didn't want to be let down; and she really wanted to be an apprentice, like Safepaw and Halopaw were, so she could help out her clan like her father. "Wolfheart will be proud!" she tried to persuade, tail swishing anxiously. If they did agree, Shadekit would be the happiest kit in the world.
