Name: Wolfheart
Name explination: His appearance and overall personality resembles that of a wolf.
Gender: Tom
Age: 26 Moons
Clan: ShadowClan
Rank: Deputy
Personality: Wolfheart is a very fierce, yet loyal tom; a reason for his name. He is a serious tom most of the time, at the others, he tends to be cool, calm, and collected. Wolfheart does not take to betrayl easily, he just doen't even accept the thought of it; much like his surviving kit, Shadekit. Wolfheart is a fighter; not much of a hunter, though he can hunt fairly well. He uses the pain he's felt in the past; the pain that never really goes away, and he puts it into battle. This makes him a fierce opponent; a vicious enemy.
Due to all the pain he suffered, Wolfheart cannot seem to grasp the concept of being gentle. He is a powerful tom, and he just can't seem to be gentle, physically or tone-wise. Gentle is just not in his vocabulary. He tends to be more rough, and tough; both physically and emotionally. Wolfheart does know how to care though; he does know how to show it.
Much like his kits, Wolfheart is very intelligent; more observing if anything. He tends to notice many things, and if he thinks he knows enough, he thinks of possible conclusions. He doesn't jump right to conclusions though; he is more wise than that. He may not be an elder, but he is wise. He may not be one of the senior warriors; but Wolfheart is as wise as one, and as experienced.
Description: Wolfheart is a large tom, larger than many other cats in his clan. His paws are wolf-like, and his pelt is a grey-silver color. His eyes are a piercing amber color. He was named Wolfkit for his resemblence to a wolf; and he was named Wolfheart for his personality, which also resembles that of a wolf, mainly his loyalty and fierceness. He is muscular; and he had broad shoulders. It is no doubt that he is handsome.
His body is large in size, and muscular. His jaws are powerful, and his teeth are sharp. Despite all this, though, he has a very charming smile. His eyes always seem to be hiding something; and Wolfheart has a mysterious quality to him because of it. Though, when the time comes, his eyes portray his emotions; whether they be good or bad. His tail is grey also, but it also had darker grey stripes going down it. It is hardly noticable though; almost blending in with his base color.
History: Wolfheart's kithood and apprenticeship went fairly well; nothing really happened except for one of his brothers passing away by a monster. He had wondered off to far, in chase of prey during leafbare. A monster had came down the road, and Hawkpaw didn't stand a chance. His death was almost instant. Hawkpaw's body was found soon after, when his mentor and Wolfpaw had gone looking for him. Wolfpaw was devasted, seeing as his brother and him were very close; they acted like the other was half of them.
When he became a warrior, along with his two sisters; Leafwing and Fernflower, their father had passed away. A gang of rouges, nearly seven of them, had ventured too close to camp; and the ShadowClan warriors fought as viciously as they could. Afterall, the queens, kits, elders, and the younger apprentices were all there. Had the rouges gotten through, ShadowClan would have disappeared; along with the last life of their leader. However, StarClan was on their side, and they had driven away the rouges, even killing several; but it had cost them injuries and one death. Talonstrke; Wolfheart's, Fernflower's and Leafwing's father. He had died protecting Leafwing from a rouge, one that was expecting to attack her from behind; not being attacked from behind.
Flowerpelt, their mother, was very saddened. She had decided to retire; both had decided to continue on with their warrior lives, so long as both were alive. Now that Talonstrike was gone, there was nothing holding her back from joining the elders. Leafwing had gone into a depression; feeling as if Talonstrike's death was all her fault. The depression ended up getting her sick; and she died moons after from a chronic illness. Wolfheart, Flowerpelt, and Fernflower were saddened; it was as if StarClan was picking the kin off, one by one. It was not the case. StarClan had allowed Flowerpelt and Wolfheart to continue on; they had taken Fernflower during a battle over the border.
It was then, after Fernflower's death, that Wolfheart had actually spent time with Darkstream. She was a beautiful black and brown she-cat. They had ended up spending more and more time together, until, one day; she had almost died. It was a badger attack; and Darkstream was on the patrol. Wolfheart had realized just how much he loved the she-cat when he almost lost her. They became mates soon after she went back to her warrior duties.
Wolfheart then got an apprentice, as well as Darkstream. They were apprenticing littermates, both she-cats. Wolfheart's apprentice was a very energetic she-cat; excited to have training. Darkstream's apprentice was similar, though she seemed to be more of a hunting type of she-cat. The two decided to allow the apprentices to train together once in a while, almost four times a moon; sometimes more, sometimes less. After their apprentices became warriors, Darkstream had joined the queens; Wolfheart was going to have kits. Flowerpelt was excited, she even left the elder's den and spent most of her time with Darkstream. Flowerpelt had passed away before she could meet her kin; her body was just to worn out.
Wolfheart was depressed beyond belief; the only thing keeping him going was Darkstream and their kits. He finished training his second apprentice by then. He had gone hunting, with the newly named warrior, as a congratulations hunt; and when he had come back, one of the apprentices rushed to him and told him Darkstream was having their kits. Almost immediately, Wolfheart rushed to the nursery den; where the medicine cat was, talking his mate through the birthing. The first one to come out was Barkkit; already mewling. Darkstream had named him. The next was Mousekit, barely mewling at all. Wolfheart named her. Shadekit was the last to come out; Darkstream having chose the name. Wolfheart was filled with pride to know he was a father. His pride soon turned to agony. Darkstream had not survived the birthing.
Wolfheart used the pain from her death, as well as those of his kin, to fuel his power, his strength. He was named deputy before the birthing; and he had decided he would make ShadowClan something his kin and mate would be proud of. Something his kits would be proud to be a part of. When Mousekit had joined the ranks of StarClan, Wolfheart faltered in his duties; but he soon returned to the powerful, strong deputy he was once before. He kept a close relationship with the last two, Barkkit and Shadekit. Both seemed to be fighters, rather than hunters; even with Shadekit's small size. Barkkit seemed to look much like himself; grey pelt and large size. While Shadekit seemed much like Darkstream, black pelt and small size. Mousekit seemed to be the mix of the two, more like Darkstream though.
After Barkkit's unfortunate death, which Wolfheart had chased the fox out of the territory, following him almost all the way; even after his clanmates stopped at the border. When hhe returned; he was relived to see Barkkit and Shadekit sleeping next to each other in the medicine cat's den. He had thought he could keep both his kits. Wolfheart had thought wrong. Barkkit was just not strong enough to survive from the injuries, and died a moon after the initial attack. Shadekit had turned to him, and he, unknowingly, turned to her too. She was all he had; and he was all she had. Wolfheart made an internal promise to Barkkit, Mousekit, and Darkstream, as well as his parents and littermates, that he would watch over Shadekit. He would protect her; as well as the clan.
